Workshop: Designing the Future of Specialty Pharmaceutical Supply Chains - Part II

Date: Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th November, 2018

Venue: World Courier Heathrow (Feltham, United Kingdom)

Todays’ commercial drug supply chain has key-drivers that require a re-design of the current logistics model. From specialty to orphan drugs, the market continues to experience exponential growth compared to traditional drugs, highlighting the importance of more personalized therapies.

Despite varying patient and logistics requirements globally, the key objective remains to ensure a reliable, efficient and safe distribution of medication to patients. The manufacturing shift from small to large molecules in biological products has a direct influence on the product portfolio of pharmaceutical companies and its logistics challenges.

This workshop intends to provide an environment for industry professionals to meet and exchange with other subject matter experts, facing similar challenges in their own supply chain, including case studies and insights from industry leaders.

This interactive format will consider aspects related to quality and compliance, managing outsourced activities and customizing the supply chain - from new product introduction to managing high value, low volume drugs.
